In her home country of Mexico, Ana Lilia Perez can't go out without wearing a bullet-proof vest. The 36-year-old journalist lives dangerously. For years, she has been investigating corruption involving politicians, the state-owned oil company and the Mexican drug mafia. She's already received several death threats. At present she's living in Germany, at the invitation of the Hamburg Foundation for Politically Persecuted People.
